My name is Emilie Macherel. As a Swiss student, I am currently undertaking a PhD in numerical modeling under the supervision of Stefan M. Schmalholz at the university of Lausanne. This follows a Bachelor and a Master degree carried out at the university of Lausanne, including a year as an Erasmus student at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen, Germany.
