I am pursuing my Master's in Data Science at EPFL, having graduated with a Computer Engineering diploma from Politehnica University of Bucharest. I obtained the ACM SIGHPC Computational and Data Science Fellowship in 2021, and a Research Scholarship with the intelligent Global Health group @ EPFL, to study healthcare innovations in resource-limited settings through machine learning. I had two internships with Google (Wear OS & Google Assistant) and I have conducted my Bachelor’s thesis with Bending Spoons, one of the world’s leading mobile developers, on optimizing App Store ranking through supervised learning. Having an entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for social impact, I developed a platform to eliminate the blood shortage in Romania. On behalf of my efforts, in 2020 I was awarded the START Fellowship, to enhance my leadership and entrepreneurial skills at University of St. Gallen, a prestigious Swiss Business school.
