Biography
I am a second year PhD student at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in collaboration with RaySearch Laboratories, a Stockholm-based company developing treatment planning software for radiation therapy. Modern treatment planning relies heavily on computationally heavy algorithms to simulate and optimize the treatment plan, meaning efficient algorithms is crucial. My research interests lie in the application of HPC and parallel computing to accelerate computational aspects of radiation therapy treatment planning. In particular, I am interested in ways to efficiently solve the mathematical optimization problems that form the core of the modern treatment planning paradigm.
