Biography
I followed my studies in Mathematics at the University of Camerino. Then, after one Master's Thesis on General Relativity, I obtained a Ph.D. grant in Relativistic Astrophysics at the International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet) seat of the "Sapienza" University of Rome, IT. I obtained the Ph.D. title in 2016. After two brief experiences in Research (at the CNR of Rome, iT) and in Industry (at the SIGMA S.p.a. in Monterubbiano, IT), I moved back to Astrophysics and I worked as a Postdoc in Numerical Relativity from 2018 to 2021, firstly with the Trento Institute of Fundamental Physics and Applications (TIFPA) of the INFN in Trento, IT, and then for the Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation (CCRG) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), NY. I moved back to the industry in April 2021, when I was hired as a Research Fellow for the Leonardo Laboratories in Genova, IT. My main research interests are Numerical Methods for HPC with applications in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Astrophysics.
