Adam Davies is a CS PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign advised by Dr. ChengXiang Zhai. Their research interests include computational semantics, machine learning explainability/interpretability, and computational social science. They study neural language models, analyzing the semantic content of their learned word representations and applying them to large-scale text data to accelerate research in social and cognitive sciences. They graduated from the University of Utah in Spring 2021 with B.S. in both Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
