Dr. Zhen Li is Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from Shanghai University, China in 2012. He joined Clemson University in 2019 after his multiple years postdoctoral experience in Brown University. His research focuses on multiscale modeling for tackling challenges in multiscale/multi-physics problems, in particular on mathematical and physical foundations of coarse-graining, and development of accurate mesoscopic models and multiscale frameworks for applications in complex fluids, computational biology and soft matter physics.
