Adrian Hines
Biography
Adrian took up the post of Director of JASMIN at the Science and Technology Facilities Council in May 2022. Prior to this, Adrian spent over twenty years working with weather and climate models at the Met Office. During this period, he worked on forecast systems, including all stages of the processing chain covering observation processing, data assimilation, model simulations, post-processing, product generation, and product delivery.
Adrian spent six years leading the Met Office Applied Science team, before taking on leadership of the Met Office Climate Science IT team, with responsibility for the underpinning technical aspects of the climate science work.
