Samuel Maloney
Biography
Samuel Maloney is a PhD student in Physics at the Centre for Fusion Space and Astrophysics of the University of Warwick. His doctoral work focuses on the development of numerical methods for simulations of problems in magnetic confinement fusion, specifically the efficient representation of highly anisotropic fields in Galerkin type methods. His research interests more generally encompass a broader scope of scientific and high-performance computing and research software engineering. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada, and an MSc in Computational Science and Engineering from the ETH Zürich, Switzerland.
