Timm Krüger is Reader in Chemical Engineering in the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. He specialises in the lattice-Boltzmann modelling and simulation of complex fluids, for example emulsions, suspensions of deformable particles or red blood cells in blood vessels and microfluidic devices. His research sits at the interface between fundamental physics and engineering/biological applications.
