Claudio Quarti holds a PhD in materials engineering and is involved in the use of atomistic simulations (mainly from first-principle) for understanding the optical and electronic properties of semiconducting and functional materials. Mainly involved in the research of more-performant materials for energy conversion and light emission, his interest in mainly in solving the constitutive equations of matter, merging the elegant approximations from physics along with numerical techniques.
