Martin Karp
Biography
I am pursuing a PhD in computer science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and specialize in high-performance computing. My research focuses on upcoming high-performance computer achitectures and algorithmic improvements for the spectral element method with applications in computational fluid dynamics. My principle supervisor is Stefano Markidis and I am co-supervised by Niclas Jansson and Philipp Schlatter.
My interests more generally are regarding the limits of computation and what we can do to overcome them. Before coming to KTH I obtained a MSc in Engineering Physics from Lund University and spent one year of my master studies at ETH Zürich.
