SUMMARY:MS1B - Swiss Chapter Women in HPC
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nWHPC is the only international organization w
orking to improve equity, diversity and inclusion in High Performance Comp
uting. The Swiss chapter of WHPC is being formed by senior professionals s
cientists and engineers working in Switzerland, representing academia, lar
ge research centre, national HPC Centre and the IT industry. At PASC22 we
hold the second minisymposium dedicated to the chapter of Women in HPC in
Switzerland. The first edition of the minisymposium was held virtually las
t year at PASC21. We hope to have an in-person gathering and networking ev
ent with prominent speakers. The mission of WHPC is to "promote, build and
leverage a diverse and inclusive HPC workforce by enabling and energising
those in the HPC community to increase the participation of women and hig
hlight their contribution to the success of supercomputing. To ensure that
women are treated fairly and have equal opportunities to succeed in their
chosen HPC career. To ensure everyone understands the benefits of promoti
ng and achieving inclusivity".\n\nSocio-Epidemiological Insights from a Ye
