SUMMARY:FirecREST: HPC for Web-Enabled Workflows
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nFirecREST: HPC for Web-Enabled Workflows\n\nC
ruz\n\nFirecREST is an Application Programming Interface that allows web a
pplications to communicate with HPC infrastructure at the Swiss National S
upercomputing Centre (CSCS). The FirecREST API simplifies the challenges o
f allowing automation tools and scientific workflows to integrate HPC comp
ute and storage resources seamlessly and securely. This talk will show how
integrating HPC into applications with FirecREST is accessible and conven
ient via implementation examples.<br />The FirecREST project, currently un
der development and deployed at CSCS, has an active outreach effort to enc
ourage its usage across Switzerland and Europe. Moreover, the team is acti
vely engaged within the international community of APIs for HPC and is wor
king towards elucidating the future convergence and adoption of these tech
nologies. These efforts and other information will also be discussed.\n\nD
