DescriptionWHPC is the only international organization working to improve equity, diversity and inclusion in High Performance Computing. The Swiss chapter of WHPC is being formed by senior professionals scientists and engineers working in Switzerland, representing academia, large research centre, national HPC Centre and the IT industry. At PASC22 we hold the second minisymposium dedicated to the chapter of Women in HPC in Switzerland. The first edition of the minisymposium was held virtually last year at PASC21. We hope to have an in-person gathering and networking event with prominent speakers. The mission of WHPC is to "promote, build and leverage a diverse and inclusive HPC workforce by enabling and energising those in the HPC community to increase the participation of women and highlight their contribution to the success of supercomputing. To ensure that women are treated fairly and have equal opportunities to succeed in their chosen HPC career. To ensure everyone understands the benefits of promoting and achieving inclusivity".
