DescriptionThis minisymposium will examine how diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in computational science are defined and manifest across the globe and related topics. DEI takes on different forms in various contexts and settings across the world, and the related issues and challenges may have common as well as differing features. The goal of this minisymposium is to gather a variety of perspectives and identify commonalities and differences such that patterns may be identified and approaches and lessons learned shared. Three major topics include: 1) how is DEI defined or manifested in your region, 2) what successful strategies have been implemented to address diversity, and 3) what are the challenges to promoting DEI.
